The Dissemination Summit served as the closing meeting for the collaborative project between Bayraklı Municipality (Turkey) and Portimão Municipality (Portugal), İzmir Ekonomi University(İzmir), Ismat(Portugal). The project, BiomaterialKIT, aimed to explore sustainable consumption through practical and pedagogical experiments involving biomaterials.

• Mayor of Bayraklı Municipality: İrfan ÖNAL emphasized the importance of sustainability and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Mayor of Portimão Municipality: Alvaro BILA (via video) highlighted shared goals and the project’s contribution to sustainable practices.
• Vice Rector of Izmir University of Economics: Prof. Dr. Aslı Ceylan Öner discussed academic contributions to sustainability.
• President of Izmir City Council: Nilay KÖKKILINÇ addressed the significance of local governance in environmental projects.
• Deputy Dean of Izmir University of Economics: Prof. Dr. Ender Yazgan BULGUN explored the project’s pedagogical innovations.
